Welcome to Our School
Welcome to U-GRO Learning Centre here in Harrisburg, PA! My name is Nicole and I'm the center director. I have an associates degree in Early Childhood Education for Harrisburg Area Community College and over 18 years of experience in early childhood education.
Our center has been a part of the Harrisburg community for nearly 25 years and offers several different full- and part-time options in our Infant Care, Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K programs.
We provide a clean and safe environment where Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers are comfortable learning through play. Our talented staff members take part in trainings throughout the year to stay current in the field of early education.

Nicole Haines, Director
Education: Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education
Certifications: First Aid and CPR, Mandated Reporter, CDA
I am delighted, to have been given the opportunity of Center Director at Union Deposit U-gro Learning Centres, I have worked in the child care industry for 18 years, and have obtained an associates degree in ECE from HACC. With this experience and degree, I am confident that every child will be cherished and cared for, all while learning and growing in a safe and nurturing environment.

My passion for childcare started at the age of 12 when I began babysitting. Building those strong, trusting connections with the families and children, helping children to identify their emotions and building self confidence are some of the things that make this career path so rewarding. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on nature walks and to the beach, as well as hosting cookouts and events.
