Healthy choices for growing children.

From the moment you drop your child off, until the moment you pick them up, we’re here to give you peace of mind. From the front door (where rigorous ID and entry requirements mean only authorized persons are granted access), to the classroom, to the playground, we maintain a safe environment where teachers can give nurturing attention to each child, so that they may learn and grow.

Health and Cleanliness

Regular handwashing, for children and staff, prevents the spread of germs in our school community. We keep an eye out for any signs of illness and immediately notify parents when their child is unwell, to make sure we stop any illness from spreading. Child-safe products are used on a regular schedule to clean and disinfect our classrooms.

Prepared for Anything

To further enhance our safety protocols, each center has a dedicated Safety Captain, who ensures a secure environment for children, family members, and our staff. This includes regular training for teachers and U-GRO employees in case of an emergency (including fire drills, evacuations, and more). We also follow state standards for CPR and first aid training. Strict ratio guidelines are followed to maintain constant supervision of every child in our care.

Sleeping Safely

During naps, the lights are never turned off. To ensure nap time safety, children in cribs are always under visual contact and listened to. Children sleep on their backs with age-appropriate bedding.

Toys and Playground

Outdoor and indoor equipment is regularly inspected for safety. Toys are regularly checked for broken or loose parts, monitored for choking hazards, and disinfected on a regular schedule. Secure fencing and a smart design in our play areas help to keep your child safe and prevent injury.
